TYPE : NHFR 90A TPU is a polyether-based NHFR thermoplastic polyurethane with a matte finish appearance. It is designed for following application: matte surface, soft touch, stable to environmental condition, robust to pass VW-1 FR test, and easy to process.

PROCESS CONDITIONS
Before process, the material must be dried at a dehumidfying drier, or at least a hot air drier. The drying condition should be: temperature 104°C 3 hours or above (should less than 8 hours), the moisture level must be below 0.03%before process.
Furthermore, an extruder with an L/D ratio of 25+ is recommended.
Melt temperature and die temperature is very important to obtain good surface quality. Too high temperature will cause gloss surface, too cool will cause rough surface.
Also, line speed will affect the surface quality as well, lower line speed is tend to gloss surface, while higher speed will cause matte surface.
